Often I photograph to share my images with others. Other times I photograph for myself, just to see what I can capture simply for fun. Last Saturday was one of those times. My husband, Bill, and I drove to Greensboro, NC to check out the Summer Solstice celebration at Lindley Park. As we arrived, the Hoop Troop was getting ready to perform. My plan was to enjoy the performances and see what kind of images I could capture. It was a challenging shooting situation, but I came home with a few interesting hoop photographs.

Quite the capture and more unusual than fireworks. The patterns are intricate and remind me of fractals or some other math formula produced design.
